Meaghan Morrish is a board member of Kahanee and an experienced mediator, story listener and facilitator of dialogue. She works as a Project Director at a planning firm in Winnipeg, where her work brings together an understanding of shared histories and the use of stories to support collective futures. She is completing a master’s degree in Conflict Analysis and Management, with research focused on storytelling as a tool for conflict transformation. Her practice is grounded in curiosity, care and respect for different ways of knowing and being, shaped by both her professional work and her life as a parent in Winnipeg. Meaghan is drawn to Kahanee because it recognizes that not all experiences can be held through a single lens without losing dignity, and that stories often provide the space to hold complexity, connection and the necessary both and that make meaningful transformation possible.
