Laachi: Musical Stories

Join us for a reflective, musical workshop exploring belonging. Workshop hosted by singer/songwriter Orit (pronounced O’reet) Shimoni. Orit has been nomadic for so many years, the theme of home and belonging are both topics that resonate with her deeply.  What makes a home when you don’t have a fixed address?  Is it something you can carry within and hold no matter what happens around you?

Attendees will participate in a collective songwriting experience and share memories, conversations and sentiments of what makes them feel most welcome, secure and at peace in a space, from the concrete to the spiritual.
